Blind Contour Faces

Blind Contour Faces, 2019-2023, Port Townsend, Washington, pencil on typing paper.

For four years, 3-5 times a week, I drew a blind contour of a different person’s face. Each face was drawn in less than 30 seconds, with one continuous line, without looking at the page, while the person sitting across from me was also drawing my face.
