Dear Town
Dear Town, 2025, Port Townsend, Washington, various papers, handmade, new, and antique, and a Royal typewriter, typewriter ink, sumi ink, antique stamp curation.
This project is a quiet, expansive public art project: 100 hand-calligraphed letters mailed to randomly selected Port Townsend addresses.
Each letter was unique. I used my intuition to write letters to random addresses throughout the town, to determine the message for each household that received a letter.
